At the age of three my parents put me on my first horse and I haven't stopped riding since. Little did I know this would take me on multiple journeys that would ultimately guide me towards a photography career.
At an early age I also had a love for art. Attending high school in Cape May County, NJ I took a photography class which further developed my love for art and taking photographs.
Through the years I continued to ride horses competitively at Quarter Horse Shows, train and give riding lessons.
In 2007 I moved from Cape May, NJ to Delaware to marry my best friend and love of my life. I still continued to show horses and further my passion for photography. I started taking photography and graphic design courses at the local community college.
I believe there is always something new to learn in photography that is why in 2013 I became a member of the Professional Photographers of America, PPA and joined the Maryland Professional Photographers Association. This has allowed me to attend monthly workshops and in 2019 I earned my CPP (Certified Professional Photographer's Certificate).
By 2014 I completely focused on photography full time and was the horse show photographer for the Delmarva Paint Horse Club and continued until 2016.
In May of 2015 I joined The Metropolitan Magazine which allowed me opportunities to photograph all different types of work such as corporate groups, headshots, retail products, culinary and real estate photography.
As much as I love photojournalistic work my passion is photographing horses, farm and pet settings. I love capturing the emotional connection between people and their beloved pets. Through the years having and photographing these subjects I see and feel the special bond animals and humans have. I love being able to preserve special memories in these photographs to be cherished for years and years.
